I'm bummed I haven't heard from my friend -- whom I consider my closest online friend -- in a while, but I know she has health challenges

Feeling proud of myself that I went to a social event for my school! Talked with ppl I hadn't met before.

A lot of life is realizing other people don't see me as close of a friend as I saw them. It's a sad feeling I'm trying to shake.

I wish my default response/feeling weren't blaming myself and thinking I'm lacking when rly I was the one putting in more effort.

but I have to remind myself: that's not fair to me, and it's not reality. They can reciprocate more. I need to be kinder to myself.

Sometimes when I think about my book club and how I haven't clicked more w/them I get rly angry at myself and blame myself,

& I just haven't clicked with them super deeply. I know I could try harder to hang out w/them but frankly they don't do many fun activities.

I finally watched Ballerina (the John Wick spinoff) and really loved it. The fight scenes especially were more creative than I was expecting
